Smart Reception provides clubs with a useful service whereby a member's details can be checked on-screen to see if they are fully paid-up and should be allowed to enter. Other useful features have also been added....
A member scans their card or fob or presents their smartphone id so a receptionist can easily verify onscreen that they are a fully paid member.
We supply a simple USB reader which attaches to a Windows laptop or PC and enables cards and fobs to be scanned. Our App can also scan the members smartphone to verify and our tablets can be used for a mobile solution.
You may wish to add add a charge to the swipe-of-card. So upon scanning the card a charge can be automatically deducted from the member's smart balance at the club and they can top-up in the App or in the club if relevant.
In addition to the above core features we have also added bespoke features to meet individual club requirements.
A private members club asked us to add fields so when a card was scanned and member's details appeared on screen the receptionist was also able to add the number of guests entering with the member and to note the guests names.
A gym asked us to deduct a charge with the swipe of card and to detail the member balances and number of visits which the member had made on the welcome screen.
